Surah Al-Ahzab • Ayah 3

Which was revealed in Al-Madinahبِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـنِ الرَّحِيمِ In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.The Command to defy the Disbelievers and Hypocrites by followingthe Revelation of Allah and putting One's Trust in HimHere Allah points out something lower by referring to something higher. When He commands His servant and Messenger to do this, He is also commanding those who are lower than him, and the command is addressed to them more so. Talq bin Habib said: "Taqwa means obeying Allah in the light of the guidance of Allah and in hope of earning the reward of Allah, and refraining from disobeying Allah in the light of the guidance of Allah and fearing the punishment of Allah."وَلاَ تُطِعِ الْكَـفِرِينَ وَالْمُنَـفِقِينَ(and obey not the disbelievers and the hypocrites.) means, do not listen to what they say and do not consult them.إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِيماً حَكِيماً(Verily, Allah is Ever All-Knower, All-Wise) means, He is more deserving of your following His commandments and obeying Him, for He knows the consequences of all things and is Wise in all that He says and does. Allah says:وَاتَّبِعْ مَا يُوحَى إِلَـيْكَ مِن رَبِّكَ(And follow that which is revealed to you from your Lord.) meaning, of the Qur'an and Sunnah.إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيراً(Verily, Allah is Well-Acquainted with what you do.) means, nothing at all is hidden from Him, and put your trust in Allah, i.e., in all your affairs and situations.وَكَفَى بِاللَّهِ وَكِيلاً(and sufficient is Allah as a Wakil.) means, sufficient is He as a Trustee for the one who puts his trust in Him and turns to Him.

تفسیر سورۃ الأحزاب:سیدنا زر رضی اللہ عنہ سے سیدنا ابی بن کعب رضی اللہ عنہ نے پوچھا کہ سورہ احزاب کی کتنی آیتیں شمار ہوتی ہیں؟ آپ نے فرمایا تہتر، سیدنا ابی رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا نہیں نہیں میں نے تو دیکھا ہے کہ یہ سورت سورہ بقرہ کے قریب تھی اسی میں یہ آیت بھی پڑھی جاتی تھی «الشَّيْخُ وَالشَّيْخَةُ إِذَا زَنَيَا فَارْجُمُوهُمَا الْبَتَّةَ، نَكَالًا مِنَ اللَّهِ، وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ» یعنی جب بڑی عمر کا مرد اور بڑی عمر کی عورت بدکاری کریں تو انہیں ضرور سنگسار کر دو۔ یہ سزا اللہ کی طرف سے اللہ بڑا غالب اور حکمت والا ہے۔ (سنن ابن ماجہ:2553،قال الشيخ الألباني:صحيح) [ مسند احمد] اس سے معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ اس سورت کی کچھ آیتیں اللہ کے حکم سے ہٹا لی گئیں۔ «واللہ اعلم» اللہ پر توکل رکھو ٭٭تنبیہ کی ایک موثر صورت یہ بھی ہے کہ بڑے کو کہا جائے تاکہ چھوٹا چوکنا ہو جائے۔ جب اللہ تعالیٰ اپنے نبی کو کوئی بات تاکید سے کہے تو ظاہر ہے کہ اوروں پر وہ تاکید اور بھی زیادہ ہے۔ تقویٰ اسے کہتے ہیں کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کی ہدایت کے مطابق ثواب کے طلب کی نیت سے اللہ تعالیٰ کی اطاعت کی جائے۔ اور فرمان باری کے مطابق اس کے عذابوں سے بچنے کے لیے اس کی نافرمانیاں ترک کی جائیں۔ کافروں اور منافقوں کی باتیں نہ ماننا نہ ان کے مشوروں پر کاربند ہونا نہ ان کی باتیں قبولیت کے ارادے سے سننا۔ علم وحکمت کا مالک اللہ تعالیٰ ہی ہے۔صفحہ نمبر6947چونکہ وہ اپنے وسیع علم سے ہر کام کا نتیجہ جانتا ہے اور اپنی بے پایاں حکمت سے اس کی کوئی بات، کوئی فعل غیر حکیمانہ نہیں ہوتا تو، تو اسی کی اطاعت کرتا رہ تاکہ بد انجام سے اور بگاڑ سے بچا رہے۔ جو قرآن وسنت تیری طرف وحی ہو رہا ہے اس کی پیروی کر اللہ پر کسی کا کوئی فعل مخفی نہیں۔ اپنے تمام امور واحوال میں اللہ تعالیٰ کی ذات پر ہی بھروسہ رکھ۔ اس پر بھروسہ کرنے والوں کو وہ کافی ہے۔ کیونکہ تمام کارسازی پر وہ قادر ہے اس کی طرف جھکنے والا کامیاب ہی کامیاب ہے۔صفحہ نمبر6948

آیت 3 { وَّتَوَکَّلْ عَلَی اللّٰہِط وَکَفٰی بِاللّٰہِ وَکِیْلًا۔ ”اور آپ ﷺ اللہ پر توکل ّکیجیے۔ اور اللہ کافی ہے توکل کے لیے۔“ یعنی آپ ﷺ کو لوگوں کی طرف سے منفی پراپیگنڈے کا جو اندیشہ ہے اسے نظر انداز کردیجیے اور اللہ پر توکل اور بھروسہ کیجیے جس کا سہارا آپ ﷺ کے لیے کافی ہے۔

Once again, the last statement: وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّـهِ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّـهِ وَكِيلًا (And place your trust in Allah and Allah is enough as a guardian- 3) is also a complement of the same order. Here it is being said: As for your approach, just pay no heed to what they say and, in order to succeed in your objective, you should trust no one but Allah for He, in Himself and by Himself, is the ultimate doer, maker and fixer of all matters and things. With Him there, you do not need to acquiesce in the opinion of anyone.RulingThe cited verse proves that, in religious matters, even consulting with disbelievers is not permissible. In other matters relating to technical or functional experience, there is no harm in doing so. And Allah knows best.
